Hello, I am a new commer as a host. Could anybody tell me why is for example 40€ x 2 nights 79€ not 80€? Sum always -1€. Thanks in advance!
That is the service fee Airbnb takes out of your payment. It is the percentage you pay them for hosting the website.
No,no, its like that: 40x2=79€
79 - 3€(fee)
76€ total.
Hello @Boris15,
Welcome to the Community Center, it is lovely to meet you. My name is Lizzie and I manage the English speaking CC here.
It is likely that this due to 'Rounding Off'. I have found an explanation of this in the Airbnb Terms and Privacy, see below an image. This article can be found on all Airbnb footers as well.
Hopefully this helps, it would be great to know. 🙂
Also, I hope you don't mind, but I have amended your title as it didn't appear to relate to you question and it will make it easier for other hosts to find the answer in the future. Do let know if you would prefer something different and I will amend.
Thanks,
Lizzie

No it doesn't. For me 40 x 2 is 80. 46 x 4 is 184 not 183. I understand roundup, that's not it.
Ok, I think I understand for 46 x 4. The price for first 3 nights was 41 € the fourth night the price was 60€. If you sum that figures it is 183! So correct! That figure 40€ x 2 is 79€ pounds to euro conversion!? And roundup thing! So sorry. No mistake here!
