Dilemma to review

Recently a guest shows up which causes  lot if minor issues (like broken kitchenware, taking stuff belonging to others from the (shared) fridge, walking around in the middle of the night, having extreme long showers, talking when nobody is there,  etc..

Then it turns out the guest suffers some mental "illness" and the guest explains all the issues are a result of that and also feels ashamed...

So i will not write a review (what to say ?) because i feel sorry for the guest, but on the other hand:  a future host should at least be prepared.

It is a dilemma when confronted with people who do not want to be a "bad" guest at all, but the issues are there....

@Emiel1  I can understand not wanting to write a review for a person like this. But I might write something like "challenging to host in a shared home situation." At the least, I would sit down with the guest and try to explain to them that while I understand that they have some mental health issues and are ashamed of their behavior sometimes, it really isn't fair to hosts or other guests for them to book a shared home situation, since they have no control over behavior that disturbs others- that it would be best to book self-contained places.

@Emiel1  I would say something positive about the person, whatever you can come up with, friendly, neat, or something, then add that despite XX, the guest is not a good fit for a home sharing situation.  You don't have to, and probably shouldn't, go into any more detail.

@Sarah977  and @Mark116

Thank you for your comments. I will think about it. In fact, from a practical point of view i do not recommend the guest (because of the issues), but on the other hand those people are rather vulnerable.

The guest stayed at more places, and none of the hosts reviewed.... Now i understand.
