Is there a service charge for "Direct deposit" payout method? I understand that PayPal charges a 3% fee right? Would anyone give recommendation and advice, please?
Should not be a problem to route your payouts to your bank account. It may in some cases take longer than PayPal and there is also the possibility of bank charges. You might want to discuss with your bank regarding charges.
Thank you, M Anne.... will check with my bank.
There shouldn't be a direct deposit charge from your bank or Airbnb. I noticed that you are also Canadian! Yay! So if you're with a major Canadian bank, then there should not be any charges. I use PayPal for the payments and then transfer them to my bank account which I do not pay a fee for and I have found that the tranfer to my bank account is faster than direct deposit. Canadians do not pay for a tranfers fee with PayPal but certian other countries do.
Hope this helps!
Thank you, Judy, for your response!
But does Paypal charges us when you get payment through them? If yes, how much do they charge?
So if I do direct deposit directly to my TD account, there is no fee involve, right?
Neither one charges a fee. When you tranfer from Paypal, you'll notice a little note on the bottom that says: "Your transfer is FREE"
Also, TD doesn't charge for transfers into your account either. 🙂 Hope this helps!
PayPal charges 2.9 percent plus 20 or 30 cents per transaction. I'm trying to find out what air bnb charges, but I think it may be 3%
PayPal does not charge a fee for receiving money no transferring it out. They charge when you use it to purchase items, etc.
