Disappointed with Airbnb

Did anyone of you having a bad experience with the Host and get respectful feedback from AirBnB after you file a complaint?

I received a negative comment from the Host after my trip in Barcelona which they slandered me smoke in their apartment. I can swear I never smoke a single cigarette in my life, not even a social smoker. I think this kind of unresponsible comments really offended me. They also couldn't provide any proof of such acusation!

I tried to complaint to AirBnB through their "Contact us" chat function 5 times but I never get a respectful reply from them. They were either closed rudely without reply one single word or saying that my case was refer to a specialist for followup, expect a reply in 24hours which was never happen.

Why AirBnB can treat their customer like that? Did they pay a minimal respect to the traveller?

I wonder why there is no followup nor any penalty to the Host who are making false acusation to the traveller.

What else can I do? Is there any other channel (like Consumer Protection Org) that I can file a complaint to both the Host and AirBnB?

Folks, if you are interested, feel free to check my profile and read my reviews from the Hosts (except the most recent one). You will know whether I am telling the truth or not. This experience really frustrated and disappointed me on how AirBnB treat their customers. I am considering terminate my account if they are still not replying anything.

@Jerry249

You made already a public comment to the review. The review of the host is rather short and it is strange a "superhost" is writing such a oneliner. Your other reviews are fine. Do not expect more form Airbnb, they simply can not do much.

best regards,

Emiel

Good comment @Emiel1 . Thanks.

Finally received a phone call from Airbnb and they could only help me to delete my review to the Host.

Anyway, I wish this post can give everyone a small tip on choosing your host if you are travelling to Barcelona and realise how some of the so-called "Superhost" behave.
