Hello Airbnb-ers and Airbnb, I'm wondering if we at some point will be able to send discount codes to guests or friends without having them request specific days? I have a situation where we are currently working with a hospital to host contracting travelling nurses. I would like to be able to set her a specific/daily price or send her a code she an use reguarly instead of always requesting the dates, then me having to calculate the cost and then send the discount then she approve and complete the booking. It seems cumbersom for both of us... as well she could not figue how to do it on her end... so I ended up discouting my monthly rate till she booked then put it back to where I had it before. Also doing this I think it caluclated the charges wrong, it charged $60.14/night I set my nightly rate to $100, then applied a monthly 60% discount.
Charges came to $60.14x45nights=$2706.23 + Cleaning Fee $40
to my claculation it should have been $40x45nights=$1800.00 + Cleaning Fee $40
When I set my Monthly discount to 60% it showed $1200 as being my monthly charge... This doesn't make sense... I really wish I could just send her a code that gives her a specific discount on any dates she chooses and be done with it.. She hasn't said anything about the charges being high yet... I want to sort this out before she does, I'm not sure how these charges came to be so high?
Does anyone else have this issue???
