Discount and alteration

I had a guest who was booked for 7 nights, getting our 20% discount. He requested to cancel one night, and Airbnb was still only going to charge him the discounted price. If someone makes an alteration request that would lower their stay beneath a discount threshold, the non-discounted price should be applied.

@Eli-And-Maggie0  When I prepare to send a Change Reservation to a guest, I always do the math beforehand. AirBNB is notorious about miscalculating the changed fee. It will omit the resort fee, etc., and as you have found, keep the individual night rate unchanged.

At the Change form, I can proof the amount, entering the correct amount if the calculation is incorrect.
