Discount for first booking

Hi guys,

I ever heard Airbnb give us the benefit of 50% doscount for first booking by very new members. I joined Airbnb on 1st August this year and made two reservations on the same day, but they didn't offer any discount. Would you tell if it is right or not?

Most discounts are offered through third party sites, @Yong-Lim0.  Otherwise Air BNB offers travel credit for travelers and hosts.  If you have a travel credit, it should be applied automatically.  If that did not happen, contact Air BNB.  Here is a guide for contacting Air BNB.

I have never heard of that being then norm for first time guests. It may be something Airbnb offers regionally, but I've never seen that kind of discount either as a guest or a host.

@Yong-Lim0   As far as I know Airbnb cannot offer discounts for a listing only a host can do that. It should be reflected in the price before you make a reservation.
