Dodgy Host!

Hello,

I have just had a reservation for three nights in Rome rejected because the host said that Airbnb had the price incorrect and it should have been much higher per night! He said I could book again with the higher price (over $100 higher per night) if I was still interested. I have never had this experience before and was quite taken aback. The booking is during off peak and I notice he does not have any other bookings that month so not sure why he decided to get greedy at the last minute. Is this normal behaviour?

@Justine217 I don't know what made the host do that but I would just pass and book elsewhere. These things happen and although I believe hosts should be on top of their calendar he has the right to make changes if you haven't booked yet. It isn't worth the trouble to book with such an unpredictable host, I am sure there are plenty of other places you can choose from.
