Extenuating circumstances - involve AIRBNB

I involved AIRBNB to refund my trip. We cancelled our trip due to extenuating circumstances and unfortunately we didn't reach an agreement with the host. I started to involve AIRBNB July 23 (which is almost 2 weeks ago) and I was wondering how long it takes them to get involved. I understand that it might take a while to examine the case but at least an update on how long it might take would be nice. Especially because I'm a host too and they want us to be very quick with everything. Would be nice if they could react with same manners as they want their hosts and guests to do.

Does anybody have exxperience on how long it might take?

 

I read that it helps to write on twitter. It is really sad that AIRBNB might react only if someone exposes them to public but they don't react when getting a private message.
