FALSE RATE PER NIGHT POSTED BY AIRBNB

Hi, My minimum rate per night was set to $57 and my maximum to $70. YET , when I wanted to check the area to see what the prices were , i found my listing advertized as $98 per night by AirBNB?? $98???? How did you get to that and WHY did you do that as i did NOT have 'smart pricing' on which gives you the right to price my room what ever you like?

Can please share more information? Which listing, did havedates selected?

What price can you see if you check the map, @Cindy249? It should be the lowest you offer.

I experienced the same thing with my own listing and realized Airbnb had added in my cleaning fee, prorated over the number of days of the booking. I then realized they had done this for all of the listings that appeared in my search. 

At first I was annoyed, but then put on my guest hat and felt it was fair. Because after all, that's what a guest WILL be paying per night to stay at my place.

OKAY .... AIRbnb , I PROFUSELY , UTTERLY and SINCERELY appologize for accusing you of doing something that you did not do but that I (CAPITAL I ) am alone to blame for!

I had a seriously blank moment there yesterday and feel like such a fool!  I am SO sorry!. I figured out what I did wrong! When I put the amount of people in the filter as one , then my room showed $57 , however when I put TWO people in the filter the rate showed $98 which would be correct as this rate includes my room rate plus extra person rate! AIRBnB You are FABULOUS! I am So embarrassed for my outrages ranting. I appologize again and again and again. (blush)
