I got a 100 dollar fine for  having to cancel a booking 3 days in advance after i accepted as i never knew i had a bad leak in my one bathroom and the owner of property can only fix it over weekend how can i sort that out bot happy about that its something behond my control at moment my property is close due to it so i am loosing income and must still pay a fine

You are the host and must provide to the guest what is paid for. If for some technical reason it is not possible to do so, the there are two options: call Airbnb and ask them to cancel withourt penalties (and maybealso they can relocate the guest). Or cancel yourself and make a claim for "extenuating circumstances":
