Fireplaces

Can a host list "Fireplace" if the heating unit is a pellet stove? If the guests are looking for warm glowing heat, a pellet stove answers that need.

What do you think? The pellet stove does not have an open flame so it cannot cook anything or toast marshmellows.

@Jacki12 I don't know the answer to your question, but any guest who thinks it's okay to toast marshmallows in an indoor fireplace is an idiot. I've never heard of such a thing. I'm sure we'd all just love scraping gooey dried marshmallow droppings off the floor.

@Jacki

Personally, I would not consider a pellet stove a fireplace. I wouldn't list it as one - those who are expecting a fireplace might be disappointed but those who are not will be pleasantly surprised.
