First Time Airbnb user, made a reservation, made a change request same day, Need help

I had made a reservation and realised i needed to leave 2 days earlier so i made the request to alter my days that same day within less than an hour.  I have contacted the host who asked if it updated on my end, and it has not. She says she isn't seeing the request, and i cant find information explaining what to do or who to contact so that she can approve the alteration.  Does anyone have any experience or can help with this?

@Eric208  On your reservation confirmation is a place to change or cancel.  Is that how you made the change request?  Your host can also do the same thing from the reservation confirmation.  If the reservation is PENDING, then wait until the reservation is confirmed then make the modification.
