Friends bar, in the community Center

Hello, I'm Viktoria in ALgarrobo, Chile. I saw that there is  Friend's bar,  in the community Center. Also an Ignored bar etc. How do you get Friends??? Is that other hosts? Guests?  I don't have any right now but was wondering how or for what reason you would get friends on AirBnB???

@Viktoria56 Not sure what you are seeing- I don't have anything like that on the top bar in my account.

Yesterday I was surf, sur, surfing all throughout the AirBnB world. Now in this new world of community.... I can't tell you right off where I saw it, I'll have to go back in and try and resurf what I was surfing yesterdy. I will let you know when I find it again 🙂 Thanks for trying to help and sorry I can't remember exactly how or where I saw it. I know only that it was in the community center. Thanks again.

@Viktoria56, are you talking about the buttons that appear to the side of a user's profile when you have clicked "View Profile"? Not really sure. I have never either added a friend or ignored anyone here. It does not impact (yet?) the ability to use the forum.

@Sarah977, do you see them when you click through to "View Profile"?

Hi Lawrene, No, it wasn't there. I'm going to go surfing again and try to remember what I did yesterday. I thought it was curious. When I clicked on "Ignored" it said I didn't have any ignored. ignored what??? and when I clicked on "Friends" It said I didn't have any friends. When it said I didn't have any friends is when I wrote here to the forum wondering what that was... you get friends on AirBnB? Anyway, I will check and let you know where it was. I'm almost sure it was here in the Community Center.

@Branka-and-Silvia0  Click on their photo "View Profile". Look in the box to the right on the page that comes up. (don't click on the "View profile" box above it- it's on the first page that comes up)

@Sarah977I mouse over your profile pic , click on view profile, it leads me to another page where I can click on the send message or view profile button. Under those buttons is your activity feed and above it's your profile picture. Nothing else

It is on this page of @Sarah977 and @Viktoria56 and @Lawrene0 but on the right hand side.  They are not in bold but very faint.  I have been able to choose to ignore someone.for years.  I do not remember if the friend thing was always there but definitely the option to ignore was.

Yes, and ignore who? a guest? a host? a community forum member? ANyway, this was not where I saw it but it's there too. The bar I saw was at the top of the page left to right. This on the screen shot is on the lower right of the page listed vertically not horizontally. The one I saw I think there were 3 or 4 options left to right. I don't remember the other one or two. Then the 3rd option was Friends (no other words) and the 4th was (ignored). I have to try and find it again.

@Branka-and-Silvia0, here is the screenshot of yours. You hit the "View Profile" button, and then on the next screen is "View Airbnb Profile. Hit that, and this is what I see for you:

I zoomed-in the screen to enlarge small letters so my right column felt down under the left coloumn ( community feed )  that's why I didn't see the right column :))))
