Frustrated host.. Guests dont read the ad.

This year it seems Airbnb has gone down the drain.   Guests simply do not read the ad then use every excuse to try to cancel.  I probably spend twice as much time dealing with these people.    I dont know what else to do has i have spelled everything out multiple times.  If its not that, then i have having to explain what airbnb is cause people have no clue what they are doing.  I'm this close to not hosting anymore.

@Brian941, is it one specific thing that guests aren't reading? If so, what is it?

@Brian941  I hear you; I am having the same issues.  Guests acting surprised that there are cats on the premises(I'm allergic....can you please lock them away while we are here?)  "Why is it not ok to have my frirnds over for a pool party?",  "Can we use your hot tub?"(not included in listing), etc, etc.   Top that off with having to squeeze every bit of information out of potential guests, no profile pic....I'm about ready to take a break, too(at least from Airbnb)!

@Brian941 @Ann489

We just raised our prices.

Henry says that if we get anyone to come at the price we have now..... then great.

If not, we can just take a break and take it easy~

@Jessica-and-Henry0  Lol....now the reprimanding and shaming from Airbnb begins;  "fifty people have looked at your property for May, but booked one that was x-dollars less...blablabla...."

But, hey, maybe that's not such a bad idea!  A little extra money is nice, but I don't need it, and it's certainly not worth the aggravation.   😉
