Dear co-Hosts,
Today the security commander of the Condo we are renting out has decided to discontinue allowing self-check in for guests. I am personally concerned and affected because Airbnb is a part-time for me for the obvious reason that I can no longer afford to pay my rent in the building hence I am no longer living there. Self check-in has worked and helped me tremendously thus far.
Reasons Self Check-in is helpful:
1. Guests who are uncertain of their arrival Time
2. Guests who are late or unresponsive on their way to the building
3. Extenuating Circumstances / Emergencies allow Hosts to unload the burden of being there.
4. Part time hosts need to balance their schedule to manage other important enagagements
For the above reasons, I would like to appeal to my co-Airbnb Hosts of The Gramercy Residences to participate and cast their Votes to allow Self-Check In.
