@Valentino4 tell him you are looking forward to his stay and send him a link from your Airbnb with instructions on how to book! He is just trying to avoid paying the fee to Airbnb and these kind of guests most of the times turn out to be not so great.

Firstly, please know your message is addressed to Airbnb, but this is a Community Centre forum.

Check 'Help' on the website for contact to Airbnb Customer Service.

Normally, host contact details are not displayed to prospective guests.

In your case it seems to be displayed on the title of your listings.

So if you wish to avoid this scenario you simply need to change title of listing to hide this detail.

Many hosts operate on different websites or privately, so can take non-airbnb bookings.

Consequently, if you wish to exclusively be an Airbnb host for these listings, in the current case just inform the guest to make the booking via the website. Obviously it will be more expensive for the guest who has to factor in website 'service fee', which Guest evidently wishes to avoid.

Hi @Valentino4. Both hosts @Ana1136  & @Alon1 have given you good advice. In your message to the guest via the Airbnb site, you can state that part of your STR policy is to only take bookings through the Airbnb site. Send the link as advised.

If you only have whatsApp contact details, just state this in that site and the link. Let them know you appreciate them contacting you, but all bookings must go through Airbnb.

Otherwise:

State you only take bookings via Airbnb site. Wish them well,  smile and say goodbye.
