Guest Cancellation

Hi,

New to Airbnb.

Just been messaged by a guest who is due in 10 days to stay for 3 nights.

She wants to cancel her booking, which is fine by me. I just don't know how it works from her end, and how quickly she is able to cancel her booking.

As it's a long weekend , I would like those dates to be available ASAP as there would be demand.

@Atha1  it takes a few seconds

message your guest and tell her if she cancels within 48 hours after she booked then she will be fully refunded, including Airbnb fee. If she booked earlier then she will be refunded according to your cancelation policy. Tell her to cancel as soon as possible so you have a chance to rebook those dates.

 

If she doesn't cancel in a day or two and don't respond to your messages then contact Airbnb and ask them to contact your guest regarding her cancelation.
