Someone who sent me a booking request that i did not accept is asking me for a refund! I never got any funds from him nor did i accept his booking. he is insisting that he was charged. is there anyway i can help him?

Yes, tell them Airbnb would have any funds that may have been deducted, not you. You would not have any funds until 24 hours after the guest is supposed to be checked in. Leave it to this guests to sort out his own mess.

I got an enquiry from a potential guess.
I preapproved the booking, but unfortunately the room didn’t work for her.
I told her that she should ask for the cancellation to Airbnb just in case.
A month later she contacted me saying that Airbnb charged on her debit card. I have checked on my payments but It doesn’t appear a payment of her booking. I got a debit from Airbnb on that reservation. I’ve been trying to contact Airbnb to expose my case but I wasn’t successful.

I've a guest who booked the room. He's suppose to meet his partner in Singapore and stay at my airbnb. unfortuantely his partner was rejected by immigration and he came to stay for a night but had to leave to settle his partner's issue. We left the room as it is as he wasn't sure if he is coming back. In the end he didn't came back and is asking for a refund. I had a moderate cancellation policy. I told him there's a cancellation policy and I can't refund him. However he is persistant. What should I do?
This guest faces some problems which are not under your control. So the guest could have cancelled the reservation and then the cancellation policy will determine if there is any refund. But i understand there is no cancellation. It is up to the guest to take some action (cancelling, contact Airbnb, whatever).
