@Terry311 You need to have a listing for each bedroom, that's the only way that guests can book only one of the bedrooms. The way your ad reads now, you have 2 bedrooms for rent, but it only says you accept 2 guests in total. So if someone booked one of the bedrooms the way your listing is set up now, your calendar will be blocked for the whole listing and no one will be able to book the other.
So you need one listing for bedroom #1 that states 2 guests, another listing for bedroom #2 that says 2 guests, and a third listing for 2 bedrooms which accepts up to 4 guests, in case there's 2 couples traveling together who want to rent both at once. And each priced accordingly.
Get it? Maybe another host will respond who has a similar rental set-up and you can take a look at their listings so you can see how it works.
@Terry311 I find your listing confusing. You have 2 bedrooms to rent out, one with a king bed and one with a queen, and it says 2 guests. Does that mean you only want 1 guest at a time in each room? Or 2 guests per room? Are you willing to take 2 separate parties of guests, one in each bedroom, or do you only want to rent both together?
If what you are trying to do is list each bedroom for rent separately, each bedroom for up to 2 guests, you need to set up 3 listings- One for each bedroom, and one for both together if someone wants to book both. Then you link the calendars so if someone rents one, the 2 bedroom option is blocked.
One each bedroom listing you would show photos only of that bedroom and bathroom and the common shared spaces. On the 2 bedroom on one booking listing, you'd show both bedrooms.
I think your photo gallery could use some work, as well. Bed shots should show the full bed, as well as the bedroom from different angles. Is there a bedside table? A reading lamp? Guests like to see that, the bed and bedroom is really important. And there are too many outdoor shots, some redundant and not enough of the inside. Also the shots are pretty boring- maybe get a friend who's good at that sort of thing to help stage the place a little.
Hope this helps.
Helps a ton yes and I agree with everything you said and I will be taking all new pictures. Lol the funny thing is I am far from boring.. just not sure what you mean by another listing. I have 2 rooms that can accommodate 2 per room....could you explain please?
