Guest canceling because considered place small after talked to me but airbnb sent as host cancellation. How to avoid penalities?

@PaoloandKatia0 and @Sandra0, I suspect what happened to you is the "guest requests you to cancel" request that Sandra described above. You think you are only doing what the guest wants, but it gets turned around on you by Airbnb and you will be penalized.
As it is the first time, call them up, and chances are they will reverse it and also take the " host canceled" review off your page. good luck!
Contact Airbnb as soon as possible, it was probably a platform error.
If guests cancel you do not get penalties, but if a host cancels you always do. So, let the guest cancel if they are the ones who wants to do it. If you have been sent a ''guest wants you to cancel'' message, do not accept it.
