Guest cancellations are automatic?

When a guest cancels their reservation, do I have to approve it first? Or is it handled automatically by Airbnb based on the cancellation policy of the booking?

Yeah it is. One of mine cancelled last minute. His wife gave birth early and so he couldn't travel haha. It happens.
