A guest failed to turn up to a reservation, contacted me 7 hours after his check in time, to say he'd missed his flight. As per cancellation policy, he wasn't refunded.
He has now contacted me (6 weeks later) to ask to come for a week for free, given he failed to turn up last time, and I was still paid. I have refused this, however now feel quite guilty, as I did get money for nothing. But on the flip side, it wasn't my fault, so why should I be out of pocket??
Any advice would be appreciated
