I am new to hosting. Can anyone advise if this situation has ever occurred or if this is something that Airbnb protects against? If the time for the guest has ended and they still don't leave. What can be done or is this something they can do or not?
Should I request a deposit?
Should I ask them to buy their own insurance incase they get hurt?
anything else I should know regarding the guest and any problems.

I am wondering the same thing: What if they won't leave? In Amsterdam people gain rights to stay after renting a flat, by law. So, they could claim the right to long-term rental.
