Guest payment

One of my guests has booked for later on this year and has had payment taken out already. She is not happy. Can someone help.

Your guest agreed to the terms and conditions of Airbnb when making a reservation on the platform.

The guest should read: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/92/when-am-i-charged-for-a-reservation

BTW I noticed on this community some guest mentioned paying upfront a part of the total amount (not being a "long-term-reservation), not sure if it's limited to certain areas or circumstances/ settings, maybe another host can shine a light here on it.

@Jane496, what you describe is exactly how AirBnB works for every guest.

The day the guest makes the booking, the guest has to make payment, even if the stay is far, far in the future.

There is nothing to help them with, except to explain that is how every AirBnB booking is paid.
