Hi all, a quick check with any of you guys how & what should I do if encounter guest took my thing without informing, permission and return, and also took my food. Although it is a Samsung charger (original) and some food, what can I act on this incident?

Hi @Kevin-Long0 You can go through the Resolution Centre and ask to be reimbursed for the missing items. The guest will have to agree to pay, but if they don't, you can escalate it to Airbnb.
I'm not sure I'd bother going after the cost of the food unless it was substantial, but hopefully you should be able to get the cost of your charger at least. Be sure to submit the receipts, showing the amount you had to pay to replace them, for the charger and for the exact food items. Hope that helps! -Karen
Hi Karen & Brian, thanks for the info, I'm in the midst of liaising with the guest before going thru the resolution or Airbnb, my phone charger, food and even more now one of my long pants jeans has been missing too 😞

Make sure you mention these misdemeanour in your review of your guest and give your guest a thumps down, you don’t want this guest inflicted on any other Host do you?
