Guest verfification

Hi, 

A couple want to stay with me for one night but she messaged saying she is away without her passport, has no driving liscence and cant seem to get any other photo ID. 

She has 1 review so has stayed/booked with someone before so I'm unsure why she still hasn't been photo verified. 

I would like to accept her request but I want to go through air b&b and she doesn't seem able to book without this. 

Any suggestions?

So you have set up your account to say only verified guests can stay with you?

If you click on Your Listings then in the left menu you will see Reservation Requirements

(If that is the case then you will need to change this and I believe you will be able to accept her booking.)

Red flag as the second person could get an account and verify

I do believe the passport as I lost mine last week and don't drive but the previous passport is acceptable for photo ID so her story doesn't add up

Could be....although I don't take my passport anywhere except when travelling abroad. Good idea re second person verifying....

I see your point Gerry but " away without her passport " would not hold true for the second person sounds fishy if the second person is not registered then host is not covered by ABB insurance surely?

@Cassie0 just seen you are in UK so definitely she would have her previous passport as do I if she is not coming from within UK then she must have a valid passport
