Guest will not leave. Advice please.

Guest instantly booked for 30 days.  She is 21 years of age.  Since she has been here, she has smoked incredible amounts of pot on my back patio and has been stoned constantly.  She cannot be trusted to be along, she is really spaced out and I must cook for her.  She cannot be trusted int he kitchen.  

I have contacted AIRBNB, and I have offered to refund her money, but she refuses to leave.  She said I am being petty.  She has 2 arrests, both for violence and she has had her baby removed through CPS.

I have guests arriving in my other room, and they have a young daughter.  This is problematic.  She won't go! She said she has until Oct 16 and will not leave until then.

If Airbnb is willing to cancel the reservation, she has to go. If you cancel (but then facing penalties from Airbnb) she have to go too. She probably will refuse to accept a change (shortening) of the reservation (although it is the best solution), so cancelling is the only option left.

Thank you.  AirBnb cancelled and is refunding her.  Worked out in the end.  I have had 12 wonderful guests, and it has been very rewarding to be a host.  I will carry on!  Again, thank you.

@Valerie691  Yes, cancel the reservation, it's the only way you'll get her out and you don't want to put up with this for another 2 weeks. You won't get paid for the nights she didn't stay, but so what- if she stays, it might lead to a cancellation from your new guests or a bad review from them. 

But don't cancel yourself, contact Airbnb and explain why she is objectionable and needs to go. Be sure to mention that she has 2 arrests for violence and you don't feel safe with her in your home. Ask if they will do a "neutral" cancellation, meaning you won't get penalized. (the unused nights she paid for will still be refunded, though)

Once the reservation is cancelled, if she still won't leave, she will be trespassing and you can call the police to remove her. Make sure to have the reservation cancellation info printed out to show them that she no longer has a valid reservation.

Thank you!! I went through AirBnb and they cancelled.  The sheriff told me to remove her things, she had not established residency.  Her parents have her belongings now.  She is gone.  I am refunding.  AirBnb was very helpful.
