Hi, can I ask if many hosts have guests stay that live under 30 min away from your Airbnb?
Cheers,
Suzanne
Hi Suzanne
Yes, there is. The most of the guest look for privacy and living facility with competitive price.
Some guest do that.
Thank you

Never in four years @Suzanne518
Guess it depends where you live, type of property and whether you accept same day bookings.
i would ask your guests why the chose your place and plans for their stay.
you don’t want people who want to party or use your place for hook ups.
@Suzanne518I've had exactly one guest and his wife who lived approx. 20 min. from me. They had to have renovations done to their house and stayed here for a week. They were great guests!
@Suzanne518 I've had that happen twice.
One seemed pretty innocent -- a young woman living about 30 mins outside the city booked it for 3 days for herself and her fiance who was flying in from somewhere. She explained to me that she would be spending the days there with him, touring Toronto, but would not be staying overnight. (I suspect she lives with her parents). Everything went fine.
The other felt really dodgy and I was nervous the whole time they were there -- a man who lives only 20-30 mins outside the city booked it for 2 people, then explained that it was so he and his sister could spend the weekend downtown. My listing clearly states it has *one* bed, but I decided not address that point. It went fine as well, but I was glad when they checked out and the cleaners confirmed the place was in good shape.
And finally, I will say, that my husband and I used to live 45 mins from downtown Toronto, and we'd occasionally rent a place for a night or 2 downtown just to get away from the kids and be able to go out for an evening and not worry about driving home.
