Guests checked out early because they said the smaele of cigarette smoke kep them up.

I'm really upset about this. These are highly rated airbnb people. Very nice. I'm sure they'e not scammers. 

I have a 4.9 rating as a host (for years now, with many guests).

They decided to check out today because they couldn't sleep all night due to cigrette smoke! There hasn't been a cigarette in this house for over 10 years!

Nor do any of our closest neighbors smoke. I am highly allergic myself.

I was extemely accomodating, waiting up for them, even though they were more than 5 hours late.

What should I do? This has never happened...

(BTW, my husbnd did burn some toast, on the ground floor, hours before they arrived.)

Did you tell the guests about the burned toast or that there has never been a cigarette in the house for 10 years? It might just be an unfortunate event which you may still rectify by contacting them.
