Im still shocked from the state in which my apartment was when i entered after the guests had left. The total disarray and accumulation of garbage in every room, the stained walls, the stained floor.. the broken furniture. It was a nightmare.
I had problems with them from the very first day. They expected services closer to a hotel than to a flat in the center of the city.
They demanded a cash refund in full and wanted me to cancel the reservation.
I started sending messages to Airbnb support, afraid for the integrity of my flat and its contents, for i had seen these guests were not behaving properly towards me, and towards the cleanliness of the flat. But nothing could be done to prevent this. They had a party and filled my flat with people, beer bottles.. cans.. garbage and whatever else they could find, yet there is no way for the airbnb experts to prove that they would indeed do this or that they had already done so. I am now stressed out, and really sad. I dont understand why there are people capable of such damage, and why does airbnb permit them to take part in the platform, and more importantly in the community.
This is not what I signed up for.
Im writing this in hope that someone that has had this terrible experience can tell me how to prevent this in the future, because I dont think I can trust the platform anymore if this happens again.
