Guidebook Problems

Hi everyone,

I spent lots of time on my guidebook but it doesn't show up on my listing.   How can I get it to show up?  Not finding a contact email address either for help directly from airbnb.  Thanks for your suggestions and help.

Hello @Nathaniel7 emails won't get you anywhere, you need to call airbnb on the phone to get some help. 

The browser of your computer is the problem, it's got some cache memory that stops you from updating your airbnb account, this happens all the time. If you want your changes to be saved into your airbnb account you can : 

 - clean your browser history beforehand

 - or go in private navigation to make your changes (my favorite)

 - or use another browser

I just took a look at your listing and on your listing's map I was able to see your recommendations (Guidebook):

Sometimes, you need to zoom out slightly on the map for the little icons to appear. Is this what you were expecting to see or are there more places you have highlighted?

Hi, @Nathaniel7, just to be clear, your "guidebook" is not actually a guidebook, but flags on the map on your listing. What you have written about each place shows up when a potential guest clicks on those flags. 

You can print your guidebook, but I am not a fan of how it shows up, so I paste it into a format I like and then print that. I put it in the hardcopy binder I have in place for guests. 

It is understandably confusing, because of the language used and the setup for inputting the information. I hold out hope that the guidebook will someday be something guests can read like a, well, like a guidebook. Until then...

Update: I see there is "View Guidebook" on listings in the phone app. Very happy about that! It is still the map and flags, but that's fine. It's findable!

I'm looking in the app right now and can't find "view guidebook" anywhere. Suggestions please? Never mind. Found it.

Same Issues. I filled it out completely but it won't print like what it says -- A guidebook.
