Having an above ground pool as a host

Hi,

I was looking into using my house as an Airbnb but am worried about my above ground pool. It is enclosed by a fence. Does anyone have any experience with this - is there extra liability available? Do you have the renters sign something?

Did anyone choose to not have their pool available for guests? Do you out this info in the listing? What if someone gets in the pool?

Thank you!!!

Empty the pool fast!

Are you aware of your legal responsibilities regarding pools and the certificates required if the public are going to use them?

look it up on google?

@Stephanie1162 would that jeopardize your permit with the city ? Or your home owners insurance?

if you have the ability to lock it then I would probably restrict access, but don’t know if that would be sufficient for the city/insurance
