I want to ask you about my situation I recently saw a flat I want to rent, I made the payments everything but it turn out that is scam and now I want my money back any suggestions when she sent me the receipt under there it written Airbnb Luxembourg payment SA

The name of Arbnb is abused and even fake receipts are created to scam people.

Airbnb should be aware of this, maybe escalate to the trust and safety department ?

Sorry there is no point you contacting Airbnb's Trust and safety department.

Sadly you got taken in by a scammer who was probably advertising the property much cheaper than the going rate and on a third party website.

The scammer then directed you to a false website (you can tell this easily as the URL is not Airbnb.com) .

if you paid by credit card contact you credit card company . Also report the scammer on the website you found them on.

if you want a long term rental in Manchester use Rightmove, Open Rent and register with local estate agents in the part of Manchester you want to be in. 

if you want to use Airbnb visit airbnb.com
