Help! Resolution Adjustments Withheld More Than a Year Later???

Hi everyone, this post is part of a longer saga; but basically what appears to be happening is that we have all over sudden had three resolution adjustments withheld from December 2016/ January 2017 respectively. Now, they were all adjustments I made because we were being nice and considerate hosts, first of all, and not because we had to. Though it technically doesn't matter, it upsets me to think that we are now having problems because we tried to be nice to our guests and understood their circumstances!

 

Anyway, for weeks now I have had substantial payouts withheld. After almost daily phone calls and messaging (since January 22!), we thought we'd finally come to an explanation around local taxes and the 30% that airbnb collects for people who have property in the US but live abroad (loooong story). Turns out, that's not the issue, it's the fact that airbnb for some reason failed to collect the resolution adjustments from the next guests, as they should have, despite us having hosted almost 50 people since! So Airbnb would have had ample opprtunity to collect the adjustments right away. Instead, they decided to do it now, out of the blue, without any warning or explanation (leaving me with severe budgeting headaches as I have onging expenses but no money coming in UNEXPECTEDLY).

 

Now, I have screenshots that show I paid the resolution adjustments, too. This makes me wonder if there is a system error or something else going on -but it seems there is no course of action at all? Are we just at the mercy of some computer that suddenly realises it needs to withhold money? How do we knoe this won't happen again? Surely there should be more transparency around this??? Anyone any ideas as to what to do, how to get help?

So these were credits you agreed to an submitted, Guests presumably got them but ABB neer took them from you until very recently?

Yup that's what happened. I just don't understand how it can take more than a year for them to notice (30+ guests later) and why they would not contact me about it (just withheld the money). Anyway...Trying wit support team (have been for weeks)...
