Hi we are new to Airbnb hosting
i have a gentleman who messaged me 3 weeks ago asking for pics of each individual bedroom (we have a 5000 sq for house) so we only had pics of the rest of the home.
I obliged and asked for details of his stay and number of people etc
Never heard back from him
today he messages me, still doesn’t answer my questions and asks the following
Brandy,
Can you please give some information about the home. Do the owners live in it when it is not rented or is it solely a rental property? Are there animals that live in the house when it isn't rented?
Should i I ignore is it normal for people to not answer for 3 weeks and ask questions (the dog one make sense but not the other)
my home is $600/ night and we do live there
I do t want it trashed and feel really weird about this now
my other 6 bookings since listing in March have been so smooth
thanks
@Brandy19, seems pretty normal as guests work in many different ways! Busy lives, time runs away from us. As there is a cat scratching tower in a picture I assume there are animals normally. Needs to be made clear and I understand that he asks. And since a previous review mention the beds as a discomfort issue and you perhaps didn't have the bedroom pics up when he first enquired I can understand that as well, but there ARE pictures of the bedrooms for him to see now which is essential.
Just answer his questions. Yes, we have two cats or whatever, and yes, we normally live there but not when we have guests, we stay down the road at relatives house (safe to know you are nearby if you are worried).
Okay sounds good
The other reviews are from a camper I rented out last year lol
not this home
no way to distinguish the difference ?
@Brandy19, yes if you read properly. I didn't, just scanned the reviews quickly and if a guest does that too, it is the message they will get!
