Hi fiends:) please help me. I have requested for long term accomodation by host

Hello Dears,

I am a student in Sydney. and I want to move my house.

I found some accommodation outside of the AirBnB and contact with the host via email.

The host request me make contract through the Airbnb system and said I could leas the house for 6month- up to 4 years for the monthly paid.

As I have not used AirBnB, I have tried to find more informations to make sure this is regal and reliable process.

Unfortunately, I could not found this property on AirBnB. I am reading the FAQ Airbnb. It is looks like the AirBnB does not support long term leasing. 

Is it normal for long-term accommodations or not?

How can I make my renting procedure safe?

@Jihyun1  Air BNB does support long term listings as defined by longer than 29 days.  What you are seeking is a regular long term lease, right?  The Air BNB terms for long term might be different than you expect, so I suggest you go to Help Center and enter the search terms "long term".  You should be sure this works for you.

In my experiences, long-term renting is normal case in Airbnb. But Airbnb platform support for short-term better than long-term. 

I think you should read carefully about long-term payment method before making it clear with the landlord.

Sounds like a common scam, if you look closely you will see that it has nothing to do with ABB.
