Hi

A lady contacted me wanting a booking I sent a pretty approval and 2 hours later she reply ed with sorry I have booked another place I said all goo and enjoy your weekend
On Friday late afternoon she was asking again can we please stay at your place as.they could not find another place.
I said yes no worries.
They paid for x2 days and arrived late afternoon the lady enquired about an outside table to have a wine ( we did not have on nor was it on.my listing so I directed her to a lovely quiet park showing them which way to go.
They spent most of the time in there room
The next day they wanted to cancel the next night due to changing there mind about returning back home early I said they need to sort it out with Airbnb
I have a moderate cancelation policy in place and if they get $back I lose money on that room what do you think?

If you want to avoid situations like this, you would need to change your cancellation policy to strict.  A strict policy can backfire with less bookings.

And honestly - your guests sound very clueless !

Stick to your cancellation policy.

Please let us know how it turns out.
