Host Price Gouging and Discrimination

I recently booked a stay in an appartment in Columbus Ohio . A few hours the porperty manager Nate  asked me to cancel my reservation citing that there was  planed construction. I complied with his request not realizing that if I cancle it it does not effect his standing with Air BnB.  He tried to get me to move to another proerty that he manages "for my inconvience" but those properties was listed a a lower daily rate than I already paid. He did not offer to adjust the rate if I moved locations. Today I found out that he was still offering the apartment but increased the cost by more than $50 a night and increased the cost  just for the dates that i told him a convention was taking place in the Convention Center that I was planning to attend. Meanwhile he is  charging the same rate I originally booked for on every other date in June. That's a jerk move just to make a buck.
