Host cancelling

Hello, I had to cancel a reservation due to Tropical storm Nate and damages to the road leading to the house.  What do I need to do so Airbnb waives my penalties?  Currently there is no road access to the house, and several landslides have the main attraction the Monteverde Reserve closed until further notice.

Any help I can get will be very appreciated.

@Gabriela226   I am sorry you are dealing with the aftermath of the series of storms this year.  I hope that you and your loved ones are safe.  I know there will be long term affects of the storm.

It is best to work through Air BNB to cancel the reservations as these cancellations would be under the "extenuating circumstances" cancellation which waives all penalties.
