Host’s address not visible on reservation

I’ve used Airbnb quite a lot but this is the first time that my host’s address is not visible on the reservation. Instead I see a street name and when I click on it, it shows my the intersection where the house is located. The host messaged me the address in the message. Does that sound legit? Did anyone have this experience before?

this is not right, the address should be shown to you here on Airbnb after you booked.

But, if the host didn't enter it while he published his listing then he cannot add it later by himself, he should contact Airbnb to make this change.

You may contact Airbnb, tell them you are concerned about it and they may contact the host and change his address (add the house number)

Does your host have any reviews? Is he a superhost? If so then you shouldn't worry

You could also go to google maps/street view and see if his pictures match the house/building and if there is a house at all

I would ask the host for the full address @Marina79 . If they won't/don't provide it, follow up with Airbnb .

Thank you for your advice @Branka-and-Silvia0  and @Helen19 . The host has over 40 reviews so seems trustworthy. It’s just odd to me that he didn’t publish the address to a Airbnb... I guess I’ll give Airbnb a call to be sure.

if he has 40 good reviews then don't worry, maybe he has a good reason not to reveal his exact house number. But it is not usual.
