Hello, booked a room in Vietnam which was ‘accepted’ by the host who then proceeded to tell me that room wasn’t available and that I could have a different room for a significant amount more money. I told the host no, and that they need to cancel and refund and they should not have accepted it to begin with, but they are continuously refusing to do so! Saying I need to cancel which I see will not result in a full refund (as the booking was for the next day) I am now out of pocket a booking for 4 nights and had to book somewhere else and cannot get my money back! Airbnb have not responded to my query and it’s been 2 days!! Am I going to lose that money for good?
Contact Airbnb via facebook and/or twitter @airbnbhelp. That sounds like a ''switch and bait'' and is absolutely not allowed.
