Hosting experiences with Airbnb experiences?

Hey Airbnb Community,

I was recently playing around with the idea of offering an experience. In particular, I host in Atlantic City and I have a historic home that I remodelled to look like it would have in the 1920s. Since history is my area of expertise, I was thinking of offering a walking tour of historic sites in the area. I was wondering if anyone had any insights or experiences about experience hosting that they would be able to share to offer me a better understanding of what to expect and how to plan.

Did you know ABB now have, or are in the process of, partnering with Heritage 23andMe?

Maybe look through the listings under 'Experiences' & seek inspiration in there, 

ditto use related Keywords in the search box here in CC to see if there's any other discussions on it.

Have you looked up your Historic newspapers online for KeyPort NJ, Atlanic city?

Many countries have them online now & they provide invaluable information.

Have you gathered historic information & photographs, plans etc of your home?

Maybe you could also create a book/let for your Guests to enjoy whilst they are staying with you.
