Hello,

i am a first time host. I have accepted a reservation for Dec 31st up until the 11th Jan. If my guest does decide to cancel, when will I be refunded? Also

it being peak season here in Goa it will not be possible to get further bookings for the Christmas dates as this present reservation is from the 31st onward.

It really depends on what cancellation policy you have set up for your listing @Trisa0.

Have you looked at how the various cancellation policies work on Airbnb Help Centre.

If you have a flexible policy they can cancel at anytime and get a refund.

Personally I have a strict policy as I don't want to risk this happening.

@Trisa1  With your moderate policy the guest can cancel free of charge until 5 days before check in on this reservation.
