Hi everyone,

I have a spare room in my flat and like to rent it out on airbnb. I read about some complicated procedures specially if the home owner is a foreigner which is my case. Can anybody with any info give me some pointers. Any word of advice will be much appreciated.

Well from what i've read in Turkey you need to register a company and get a tax number, register the guests with the local police and apparently getting that tax number for foreigners is not easy. This is why i'm very confused that's a lot of steps to let a spare room.

You are not asked tax ID. Renting your room is pretty simple. Just follow the steps with airbnb

I see, about these informations you need that you could ask a host(s)  from Turkey, because every country has its legal procedures
