Hotels trying to block airbnb

interested in hosts who have experienced hotels putting up obstacles and how to fight against the hotels trying to block Airbnb .  We just experienced this in a planning and zoning committee meeting and it was obvious there was an agenda previous discussed amongst some board members and the hotel owners.  What sort of legal advice.  We are a commercial. Building that operates 2 of the 7 units as Airbnb.  Because we have a multi purpose outlet city requires a conditional use permit and has deemed us a hotel.  We now have to abide hotel rules even though 5 of our small units are reserved fir local housing.  Of course this was driven by the hotel across the street that charges 3x what we do.  We wrrr booked.  They weren’t.  Advice?

Do you keep an eye on Airbnb under News on the wider internet?

One starts to see a pattern of behaviour that has used flawed research about homelessness & hotels impacted on in an attempt to kick out those who use platforms like ABB rather than embrace the fact we live in the internet age & ABB is a marketing platform.
