How pricing works ?

How pricing works ?

I have set minimum price as $40 per night and service fee of $7. So when someone makes a booking, I expect a payment of $47.

I received a booking and it shows me that my payout will be $32. How is this calculated ? Can someone please explain ?

I had offered some discounts because I started new. How can I remove these discounts ? I don't see anywhere how to remove these discounts. Under pricing settings, I can change minimum and maximum prices and change service fees, but can't see settings for discounts.

Thanks

we can't set "service fee" only "cleaning fee".

Service fee is calculated by Airbnb as a 3% of your total accommodation price + cleaning fee

so for example:

your nightly price is $40 x 3 nights = $120 + $10 cleaning fee = $130

Airbnb Service fee would be $130:100=1,3x3= $3,9

You would receive 130 - 3,9 = $126,10

Discounts can be set in "pricing settings"

host / hosting dashboard / listings / (click on your listing) / pricing

here you can turn off "smart pricing" and set your base price and discounts (weekly or monthly, early bird or last minute)

You can also set different prices for each day or period , directly on your calendar.

I also had a similar issue . I set my minimum at $65 and I just received a booking with a $55 a night rate . How did this happen ?
