I am trying to cancel a reservation with a flexible cancellation policy within the required timeframe. However, when I go through the cancellation steps and click "Yes, cancel" to obtain the refund, I get an error message that reads "Sorry, this reservation can’t be cancelled right now. Please try again later." I have tried cancelling for several days now but am still getting the error message.
Does anyone know how to process the cancellation and refund?
In your case I would contact airbnb for assistance. You will find contact details in your booking confirmation.
Same problem here. Trying now for 24 hours. Sent emails to the help desk. Supposed to respond in 24 hours. No help yet.
Try from different devices, the app might work but not the desktop version or vice versa.
Contact airbnb via Twitter @airbnbhelp, using the direct message option.
There should also be a phone number on your booking confirmation.
