How to disable insta book?

How on earth do I disable insta booking?

I never requested this

And then it books people I dont want for half the price when others are pre approved!

Go to My Listings and you will see a lightning bolt beside your listing. Click on this and see if that turns it back to grey.

If not, and you are a relatively new host, you may be one of the unlucky ones who are part of a pilot to make IB mandatory. 

Clearly there are serious issues for hosts, security, matching guests to your property and requirements, etc... However for AirBnB it's a revenue generator as it encourages impulse bookings and means guests don;t have to wait for you to respond, so hence are more likely to use AirBnB than go to another site.

If you are in this pilot the only way to escape from it is to create a new profile until you find one that allows you to disable IB. It's a pain, but seems to be the only way.
