How to enable guest to search specifically for your property

Hi All

I've used specific words and a reference in my property header/tag line but when I search using just the reference the search is coming up blank.

I'd like to create some leaflets to advertise my property and want guests to be able to locate my property using specific search words.

Can anyone advise if or how I can achieve this please?

Many thanks! 🙏

Airbnb searches do not work that way, @Julia1050 . Your listing URL is https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/33045437

You can put that on your leaflets. In my case, I have done up business cards with both the listing URL and the QR code:

Thanks Lawrene for replying 😊 that's really helpful.

The QR code being the 8 digit number within my listing URL? Sorry, I am new to this! Can people search using this property specific QR code?

I'll remove confusing the HN6TG reference from my description 🙈

Or are Guests generally only able to specify certain filters which will always bring up a selection of properties that fit their criteria, but they cannot search for a specific property, giving everyone a fair opportunity of being seen?

I'm wondering if it's possible to maximise any coverage within this platform and try to get a place to the top of the listings (..... just like everyone else I'm sure!).

Any tips it's very much appreciated!

All the best, Julia

No, the URL is the web page address. The QR code is that black and white matrix at the bottom right of my card. You can google it so you know what I mean, @Julia1050 , and how people use it. There are easy-to-use and free-of charge QR code generators out there. Just google that, too.

I'm not good with tips for visibility on the Airbnb site. As you say, everyone wants to be at the top. You are new, so for a little while you will get an automatic boost in the rankings. Filters can help. They are not perfect, but they seem to be getting better all the time.

Do stay on top of your calendar so you don't get booked on a day you cannot host, and do tweak your description and rules as necessary, as you learn from guests what they see and perceive and want. That is important just in general, but I have heard it keeps a listing "fresh" so it doesn't fall to the bottom.

Hope that helps a little!

That really helps thanks Lawrene. Great idea to use a QR code on my marketing literature. I'll look up how to generate one.

With regards to other points you raised again really helpful thank you.

Take care and all the best,

Julia
